Sense of Scenery - Paradisciousis (2026 Remixed/Remastered) - Single

Today, October 9th, the first release of my epic remixing and remastering of 2009's ‘The Disaster of Imagination’ LP is being released.  It's been---nearly to the day---two freakin' years since I started the project.  Yes, you heard that right.  I'm pretty sure that qualifies for some sort of Guinness World Record, but the shocking truth is that I'm likely not even close to the other weirdos in terms of taking precious time.  There's tedious technical reasons for why the project has taken forever.  It's nearly done… but not quite.  So, I decided to release a single, along side a b-side---an unreleased demo of ‘The Purge’ I did in 2007.  At the time, it had the working title of ‘Romania’.  I cleaned it up a bit and remastered that as well.  The original was insanely noisy.  I'm not sure why.  It sounded like I might have done it on a 4-track tape.  It's been nearly twenty years, so to be honest, I have forgotten how it was recorded.  I likely used an SM-58 as the microphone for vocals and guitar---that's all I can say for certain.  I was hoping to have the whole thing done by October of this year, but that's highly unlikely at this point.  For the time being, there's this.  Enjoy my weird little song about horrifying things.

Sean.
