Saturday Night Palsy - 'Absorbing Junior' - EP

As of tomorrow, this spooky Friday the 13th of September, I'll be releasing Saturday Night Palsy's first EP, 'Absorbing Junior'. Although 5 songs doesn't seem like much, each one was like its own little city, with its own dialect, county laws... drug dealers and sex workers etc., within the context of the EP country. For nerdy, technical reasons that will only interest or please me, I'm very proud of the way it worked out, although, I probably spent too much time on the details. It'll be out on all the streaming platforms of the interwebs. Like Limewire and Neil Young's Pono.

Saturday Night Palsy - 'Cold War, Long Walks' - Single

As of midnight, August 9th, my third single with Saturday Night Palsy will be released. If a melancholic soundtrack to a tour of East Berlin during the winter in the early sixties in a 9/4 time signature doesn't say summer, I don't know what does? This single will be followed by my first EP release with this project, ‘Absorbing Junior’, on September 13th. The b-side is the one song that didn't make it on the EP, as I strictly wanted the EP to remain in EP territory and not edge towards LP lands. The b-side is also the oldest of the songs. The drums and bass are pretty much unchanged from when I recorded them in 2018. Everything else is new or re-recorded. I've been having loads of fun with this genre. Despite my signature, gloomy proclivities, I'm hoping this translates.
